Discussion on merging of JACMHA and APSMHA

Prof Fujisawa reiterated that discussion on the merger of JACMHA and APSMHA was started at the last council meeting in Chiangmai 2017 APSSM. The decision then was that the new President Prof Fujisawa will work with Prof Sae Woong Kim, the President of APSMHA on a timeline to merge the 2 societies. After much discussion on the merits to merge the 2 Asian societies, all the JACMHA council members who were present including the Korean delegates led by Prof Sae Wong Kim agree to this landmark decision, and the merged society will be called The Asian Society for Men’s Health and Aging (ASMHA).
